IM · THE INDIGENOUS MARKET
Bring the market
together.
Meet willing vendors, organizers and community partners. Make plans for real Indigenous markets—across Alaska, the United States and Canada.
No directory businesses are enrolled automatically. Everyone controls whether to be discoverable or contacted.
Join as a verified vendor, community organizer, or partner who can offer support.
Choose separately whether your name appears and whether others may ask to connect.
Requests must be accepted before private messaging opens. Proposals are reviewed before public announcement.
WHAT'S HAPPENING IN YOUR COMMUNITY?
Help bring an Indigenous market to your town.
Check whether verified vendors have voluntarily said they're interested in a local market. No one receives unsolicited emails, and existing IM business listings are never counted automatically.
COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
Find willing collaborators.
Only members who have explicitly opted into both the directory and contact requests appear here. Nothing from IM’s existing unclaimed listings is shared.
Every local market begins with a first connection.
There are no opted-in and contactable participants to show yet. You can join anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.
Express interest in your community →YOUR CHOICE, YOUR COMMUNITY
Join only if you want to.
Public directory membership, contact permission, and receiving private messages are separate steps. Your email address is never published.
Connect with an account.
Anyone can browse Market Connect. To participate or communicate, sign in to your personal IM account and consent to the choices below.

Have an idea for a market?
Organizers can submit a community market proposal for private review. No event goes public until an IM administrator approves it. Proposing an event does not mean IM takes on the role of event host.
Choose the community organizer role and join Market Connect to propose a market.
Respect comes first.
IM does not publish vendor emails, phone numbers, exact addresses or anyone's participation without consent. Members can control their visibility and opt out. We don't assume that any of the existing directory businesses want to join or organize events.
